Kylie Minogue, Jonathan Groff és Catherine Tate csatlakozott a Warner Bros. Pictures Animation és a Locksmith Animation közös produkciójához, a Bad Fairies című animációs musicalhez – írja a Variety. A három színész mellett a film főszerepét Cynthia Erivo játssza, aki Jayne Staplegun karakterének adja a hangját.
Minogue a Clowder nevű macskaboszorkányt szólaltatja meg, Groff Robin Goodfellow hangja lesz, Tate pedig a Tündér Keresztmama (Fairy Gothmother) karakterét kelti életre. A rendező, Megan Nicole Dong így nyilatkozott Minogue szerepéről: „Clowder needed to be impossibly glamorous and hilariously chaotic in the same breath, and Kylie was always the dream.”
A további szinkronszereplők között Serrana Su-Ling Bliss Fei Chang, James Acaster Stickers, Dee Bradley Baker Groundbeef és Ncuti Gatwa Butterwort hangját kölcsönzi. A film zenéjének executive music producere Ian Eisendrath.
A Bad Fairies rendezője Megan Nicole Dong, társrendezője Olivier Staphylas. A forgatókönyvet Deborah Frances-White írta, a dalok szerzői Toby Marlow és Lucy Moss, akik a Six: The Musical révén ismertek, a zene szerzője pedig Isabella „Machine” Summers, a Florence and the Machine tagja.
